Professional Advice

The CTRU has core expertise in town planning, urban and landscape design, community engagement, capacity building/training and social enterprise. We assemble bespoke teams for projects comprising core staff and a regular circle of associates and sub-consultants. We also join other teams and consortium bids.

As a non-profit distributing organisation rooted in the third sector, we have an independent view, and act as community champion and ‘honest broker’ to bring about dialogue and build consensus between the public, private and community/voluntary sector. Our services include ‘client’s friend’, independent professional advice and support to commissioning clients on master plans.
