Local Authority Membership

You may already have some experience of the Civic Trust’s work through the Civic Trust Awards, Heritage Open Days or the Green Flag Awards. However, joining the Civic Trust as a Local Authority member will enable your authority to benefit from the Civic Trust’s work as a whole.

The Trust’s role as an ‘honest broker’ between the public, private and voluntary sectors can be of tremendous benefit to both officers and members. We have the ear of the private sector and the community and are therefore in a unique position to use the experience of all sectors to promote progressive improvements to the urban environment.

As a member you will be given a superb opportunity to benefit from this work and ensure that a Local Authority agenda remains pivotal to the work of the Civic Trust in the future. Click here to see how the Trust’s programmes relate to national Government indicators.
